Thank you for volunteering!

We receive a generous donation for helping to marshal the race.  This is our Scout Group's biggest fundraising event of the year, and it's great to be involved with such a well-run community event.

And it is genuinely lots of fun too!😃

The last two years have been a fantastic success (thank you❤️)  So we're keeping it the same:  We have 16 'slots' to fill, and we need you to help marshal please👍

👉 Choose one of the three 'shift' times that suits you.
👉 Choose a marshalling point (A-D and W-Z).
👉 Sign-up for that 'slot' on our SignUp.com page.

From the rush of the mass start in the first shift; through to encouraging determined runners to reach the finish line during the third shift...

Come solo, with family, or team up with others − to cheer, cajole and encourage the runners on🥳  We even supply a few drums and cattle bells to get the party started, or bring your own, a radio, or party playlist!🎶

It's definitely more-the-merrier, and we'd love to have multiple families sign up to each slot.

Well-behaved dogs (on a lead) welcome! 🐕‍🦺

And there's the Beer Head Bistro on-site to grab a coffee in the sunshine!😎

How to sign up

We're using SignUp.com to allow you to choose which slot(s) you'd like to volunteer for.  Just work out the code from the 'shift matrix' above, and sign up!👍

Each 'slot' in the timetable has a:

• Location code (A, B, C, D, W, X, Y or Z) − see the map for where these are.

• Shift number (1, 2 or 3) − depending on the slot, shifts last from 1 hour to 2 hours − but feel free sign-up to more than one!

We'd encourage more than one person to volunteer for each slot, as it really does make it more fun that way!  So don't worry if someone else is already signed up for the same one – go ahead and add your name(s) too.

Or bring the entire family?  If you are coming with children, then let us know how many in the 'badge numbers' box − so we can present them afterwards with an exclusive 1st Seaton Grizzly badge to add to their uniform!🤩
